How Low Could The S&P Or Nasdaq Go?
I had the pleasure of chatting with James Connor on Bloor Street Capital recently. We covered a range of topics from a potentially significant market correction, to precious metals, to Bitcoin, to Canadian real estate.
In more detail, the questions James asked include:
- What it means when the average person who is not in the market begins to buy, buy, buy. Is this a red flag or a sign to jump in as well?
- Is there a drawback to the ARK ETFs?
- Will a 50% market correction happen in the late spring? What goes into this analysis? What indicators and tools do you use?
- What can looking at a seasonality chart help with?
- Looking at NVDA, what is behind the recent parabolic moves? Now that it has reached the top of a Fibonacci extension measured move, what could happen next?
- What is so dangerous about picking tops and bottoms or trading on the news?
- What are your views on Bitcoin? Will it come close to its all-time high?
- How is the Gold chart looking? Has a new super cycle already begun?
- Will the US dollar behave in tandem with the market or go in the opposite direction?
- Looking at Silver, what does the short vs long term look like?
- What do you see on the WTI chart for oil?
- And the charts for uranium – URA and/or CCJ?
- How do the miners look – Newmont, GDX, etc?
- Do you have any concerns about the Canadian housing market? A disaster for some and a huge opportunity for others.
- What does financial diversification actually mean and how do you diversify effectively?
“The reality is that anything in this world that has big money involved is rigged or manipulated in some way. The important thing is to realize that there is nothing you can do about it. Instead, you have to learn to work with the system and understand that it’s part of the game.”
