Markets are shaking things up with fear

Markets are starting September with some big moves across the board. Equities are under pressure, yields are pushing higher, bonds are near multi-year lows, oil is breaking higher, and precious metals are pulling back as the U.S. dollar catches a bid.
The big picture remains the same: we need to stay protective and let price confirm where money is actually flowing.
