Markets are shaking things up with fear
Good morning, Revesters,
Markets are choppy as we head into the long weekend. U.S. equity markets are closed Monday for Labor Day, so today’s close will be important as traders position ahead of the extended break.
The big news this morning was the U.S. jobs number, with the economy adding about 162,000 jobs and topping expectations. The reaction is a good reminder that markets often move opposite to the headline when the news is already priced in.
