Late-Stage Market Signals, Why a Final Rally May Come Before a Broader Reset

When I look at the markets right now, I see a late-cycle environment beginning to take shape. Equities still have strength, and it would not be unusual to see one more push higher before anything meaningful changes. At the same time, we are starting to see underlying warning signs, like weaker volume behind rallies and increased volatility across key sectors. This is the type of environment where price can continue higher, but the foundation underneath it becomes less stable.

In the metals space, gold and silver remain strong from a long-term perspective, but in the short term, they are moving through a volatile and more neutral phase. Pullbacks and sharp swings are normal after strong advances, especially when factors like a stronger dollar, rising yields, and shifting sentiment come into play. What matters most is understanding that markets move in cycles, and while there may still be upside ahead in certain areas, conditions are gradually shifting. Staying focused on price action, trends, and capital flows continues to provide clarity, especially as we move closer to what could eventually become a broader market reset.
