Gold’s Pause Before the Next Leg Higher, What to Watch Next

In this interview with Daniela Cambone, I walk through what I believe is a very important phase in the gold market right now.

There’s a lot of excitement around higher prices, and technically, gold is forming a large bull flag pattern that points to a much bigger move over time. But markets rarely move in a straight line. Before that next leg higher, it’s very common to see a final shakeout, something that tests investor confidence and clears out weaker hands.

I break down what this pattern looks like, how these types of setups have played out historically, and why short-term volatility doesn’t necessarily change the bigger picture. Understanding where we are in the cycle can help remove a lot of the emotion that tends to creep in during these phases.
